Altour Indochina takes part in Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to promote Vietnam destination in Taiwan Aiming to boost tourists exchange between Viet Nam and Taiwan, from July 24 to July 27, 2018, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) led by Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong hosted roadshow introducing tourism in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Altour Indochina takes part in the delegation to all cities. Speaking at the event, VNAT’s Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong stressed Viet Nam has become an increasingly popular destination for international visitors with high-quality services and products thanks to diversified nature and unique culture. Also, Viet Nam’s attractions have been highly valued by leading tourism websites in the world. Taiwan has been listed in top 5 leading markets of Viet Nam tourism. In 2017, Viet Nam welcomed more than 616 thousand Taiwanese arrivals in 2017, up 21.5%; at the same time, there were over 380 thousand Vietnamese arrivals to Taiwan, up 96.44%. The number of exchange tourists between the two sides saw a two-fold increase after 5 years and is expected to reach 1.5 million arrivals in 2020.
