Hanoi: Sightseeing with a visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Presidential Palace, and Temple of Literature; take a “cyclo” ride through the Old Quarter

Halong Bay: Overnight cruise in boat discover caves & fishing villages, explore the lagoon.

Hue: We will take boat trip along the scenic Perfume River for sightseeing and next stop will be the famous Thien Mu pagoda and Ming Mang Emperor's mausoleum.

Sapa: Enjoy amazing and breath-taking landscapes of terraced paddies, green valleys and meet with friendly local people

Danang- Hoi An: See ancient sculpture in the Cham Museum, and tour Buddhist cave temples in the Marble Mountains. A walking  through the UNESCO listed Old Quarter; the Hoi An Museum

Itinerary

 
Day 1: Arrive Ho Chi Minh City 
Upon arrival to Ho Chi Minh City your guide will greet you and transfer by private car through the city to your hotel for check-in. The buzzing southern city, formerly known as Saigon, is a tantalizing mix of old and new. Unwind after the flight with a relaxing spa treatment followed by dinner at one of the city's best restaurants.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City 
Today your Vietnamese experience begins with tour of Ho Chi Minh City. The half-day tour takes a unique look at familiar and not-so-familiar landmarks in modern-day Ho Chi Minh City, to reveal the city's culture, architecture, religious practices and fascinating history. Visit the Presidential Palace, War Remnants Museum and several other city landmarks. Sample tasty Vietnamese cuisine at the famed 'Com Nieu Sai Gon' restaurant followed by an off-the-beaten path exploration of antiques street. A highlight of today will be exploring District 2 and 5 (Chinatown).

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta 
Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind as you travel through Vietnam's picturesque countryside with its rice paddies and rural villages. Upon arrival in the Mekong Delta, take a walk to see Vinh Long market. Boating to visit Tien Chau pagoda and local brick& pottery workshops. Passing a fish-raft village. On the way to homestay, visit the bigest nursery garden in An Binh Island. Homestay arrival. Short cycling or walking to discover daily life.
Free for personal discovery and join the family in preparing dinner. Dinner and overnight in their house

Day 4: Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City - Danang - Hoi An 
Start this morning with a visit to the bustling floating market at Cai Rang before returning to land and driving back to Ho Chi Minh city. You'll fly to central Vietnam and continue by road to Hoi An, a charming town with a laid-back atmosphere.

Day 5: Hoi An– Cooking class 
Spend the morning in a small farming village gardening, cooking with the locals and then sitting down to share your creations. Then, an afternoon walking tour introduces you to the colourful history and rich culture of this heritage town. Then time for shopping and exploring in the town

Day 6: Hoi An - Hue 
A scenic drive takes you along the coastline from Hoi An to Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. En route you will stop at the Cham Museum in Danang which houses an impressive collection of Cham art and artefacts from the 5th-15th centuries. Afternoon, arrival to Hue& check in hotel.

Day 7: Hue 

A full day tour of Hue's main sites introduces you to the intriguing past of the city. Learn about the lives of the emperors and the dynasty as you visit places such as the Citadel and royal Mausoleums. You'll step off the beaten path with a visit to Hue's local market.

Day 8: Hue - Hanoi (B)
After a morning at leisure, fly north to the capital city of Hanoi. With a history professor, you'll take a walking tour of the city's iconic Long Bien Bridge learning about Hanoi's past and present from a different perspective. Continue your city tour with visits to West Lake and several landmark temples followed by dinner at one of Hanoi's best restaurants.

Day 9: Hanoi full day– Night train to Lao Cai 
Today we would like to show you the major cultural sites around Hanoi city. The first visit to Van Mieu– Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature& the first university in Vietnam) then we go to Ba Dinh Square for visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, His Residence area, and One Pillar pagoda nearby. Next site is Quan Thanh temple and Tran Quoc pagoda. In the afternoon, we will visit the largest and most interesting Museum of Vietnam Ethnology, then go back to the Old quarter for shopping.
At 20h30 get to train station for night train to Lao Cai Province.

Day 10: Lao Cai - Sapa 
You will arrive at Lao Cai at about 05h30. Pick up and transfer to Sapa about 37km from Lao Cai, have breakfast at local restaurant before check in. Relax or optional visit the town in the morning. In the afternoon, 2 hours trekking to visit Cat Cat village, home of a Black H’mong hill tribe, which is just 3 km from Sapa town.

Day 11: Sapa– Hill tribe villages– night train to Hanoi 
In the morning, taking a drive to Lao Chai - Ta Van villages, Home of Dzay and Black Mong hill tribes. While trekking around the village, meeting and talking with local hill tribes to learn more about their daily life, customs and traditional habits. Optional visit around Sapa town or free at leisure before taking car trip back to Lao Cai train station. Get on the train return to Hanoi.

Day 12: Hanoi - Halong Bay 
Early morning, arrival to Hanoi. Journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta to Halong Bay. Arriving midday, you'll cast off from the pier for an overnight cruise. Relax as the boat weaves around the bay amid towering limestone formations and spectacular scenery.

Day 13: Halong Bay - Hanoi 
Return to shore midday for the drive back to Hanoi. En route, there is an option to stop at But Thap, one of Vietnam's oldest pagodas. You'll reach Hanoi in the middle of the afternoon with time for shopping or sightseeing.

Day 14: Hanoi - Duong Lam - Hanoi 
Today explore the villages around Hanoi where the country's rich culture and traditions come to life. Explore Duong Lam where old laterite houses line the laneways, have lunch in a 100-year old house and visit unusual temples dedicated to Buddhist deities and national heroes. A farewell dinner this evening is held in the home of a local chef who's grandmother cooked for the French elite in the 1930s.

Day 15: Hanoi Departure 

Your private car and guide will be at your disposal to enjoy last minute shopping or sightseeing before transferring to Hanoi's Noi Bai Airport for onward flight.
