Itinerary

Day 1 Hanoi arrival, welcome to Vietnam

You are welcomed at Noi Bai airport and transferred to downtown. Check in hotel. The rest of time is your free time to walk around the city to have your first impression of the capital of Vietnam with a long rich history

Day 2 Hanoi city tour – Night train to Lao Cai (B)

Have breakfast at hotel. You have full day to visit Ha Noi city with rich history of cultures. Enjoy special in Ha Noi Capital City and Old Quarter. You will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, and his residential place, then the Temple of Literature where is Vietnam’s first University, built in twelfth century, to teach the royals the Confucius theory. Here you will also have a chance to see a traditional music performance This afternoon you go on visiting one of museums in Ha Noi such as Museum of Ethnology, Women’s Museum, History Museum or Quan Thanh Temple. You have a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi’s fascinating Old Quarter for some great fun, shopping, and can try street side traditional food. Today you have chance to enjoy water puppet show at theater is an unforgettable experience of Ha Noi culture and special thing.

Then the driver drops you off Ha Noi Railway Station for taking night train to Lao Cai – Sa Pa. Overnight on train with AC soft sleeper – Cabin of 4.

Day 3 Lao Cai – Sapa – trek Lao Chai & Ta Van village. Home stay in Ta Van

This morning the train arrives at about 6:00 am; look for the “Welcome sign” sign when you exit the train station, as our guide will pick you up. Then take a morning drive through the clouds by car to Sapa (~ 1.5 hours). When you arrive in Sapa you will be taken to a local restaurant for a morning shower & breakfast. Then the driver and guide will take you to visit Lao Chai village where you will spend your time to trek around the village of Hmong minority people. On the road you can see many minority people. First of all you will trek to discover the culture and the daily life of tribe people in Lao Chai village. And then you go on your trek from Lao Chai to Ta Van.

This afternoon you continue trekking to Ta Van village and enjoy the beautiful landscapes with terraces and tribe people. Arrive in Ta Van village, check in stilt house. Then you trek around the village to see more of cultures as well as the landscapes here.

At night you have chance to talk with local people to get more experiences of minority people. Overnight at stilt house.

Day 4 Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan village – Sapa – Lao Cai. Night train back Hanoi (B)

Have breakfast with the family. Wake up early at the remote village, you have chance to enjoy the tranquil life with the lively sound. Leave the family you continue trekking to the Red Dao people at Giang Ta Chai village where you also see a lovely waterfall. The Red Dao women have very colorful red embroideries and coins on their clothing, on their head they wear a red scarf. Then you trek along small paths in the rice fields, cross the Muong Hoa River, Suspending Bridge and continue walking up to Supan village where you will meet the driver to transfer you back to Sapa.

This afternoon you are free for leisure shopping and walk around the town and Sapa market for more enjoyment and experience.
Then the driver transfers you to Lao Cai for overnight train back to Ha Noi. Spending night on train – AC soft sleeper.

Day 5 Hanoi – Halong Bay. O/n on board (B;L;D)

You arrive in Hanoi train station at 5.00 am and walk to mini hotel for early check in. Have breakfast at hotel. This morning at 8 am the driver picks you up at hotel and transfers from Ha Noi to Halong city on car about 3.5 hours to Ha Long City and have views simple, country side, rice paddy life. At 12.00, the junk crews welcome guests on board at Hon Gai Wharf. Enjoy welcome drinks and check in deluxe cabin on Junk.

Then start cruise program and excursions a Fantastic cruise in Bai Tu Long Bay visit Poem Mountain, the center market, Teapot islet, Goat’s head islet, Indochina film studio up to your imagination. You will visit Thien Canh Son Cave is a great time for exploring the hidden lagoons in Bai Tu Long Bay. Next enjoy swimming in the crystal water of Bai Tu Long Bay

Day 6 Halong – Hanoi (B)

Am: Wake up early in the morning for a great sunrise and a breath of fresh ocean air. This morning you do a leisurely cruise through thousands of seemingly never ending islands. This is a chance to capture some amazing photographs, you stop to visit a floating fishing village and listen to some legendary stories of the fishermen’s daily life. Then take swimming somewhere in the middle of the bay to refresh. Then the junk cruises back to the Halong city pier & ashore the pier.

Pm: The driver welcomes you at the pier and hit the road back to Hanoi. On the way back Ha Noi you will have chance to see beautiful landscapes. You arrive in Ha Noi at 16.30 pm.In the evening you are free to enjoy and discover Ha Noi city to get more experience of people here. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 Ha Noi – Mai Chau – Pu Luong Nature Reserve (B)

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning you will leave Hanoi to Mai Chau. You will be driven through spectacular scenes. On arrival Poom Coom village of Mai Chau for visiting the tribe village of Thai people .Travel ahead to Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

Pm: This afternoon you reach Pu Luong and trek to Kho Muong village. You will trek around the village to see the most beautiful places in Vietnam and experience more of local villager as well as their daily life. You spend your night at eco homestay in a typical Thai stilt house. Overnight at stilt house

Day 8 Pu Luong – Hanoi – Night train to Hue (B)

Have breakfast with the family. Then you start you day trek through beautiful valleys and remote villages with the come across the karst landscapes as well as rice terraces with spectacular scenes. You will arrive in Pho Doan market where you will spend your leisure time after trekking time.
In the afternoon you will be transferred back Hanoi City. You will reach Hanoi around 17.00 pm. After that the driver drops you off Hanoi train station to take night train to Hue. Spending night on train – AC soft sleeper.

Day 9 Hue City tour (B)

Am: You arrive in Hue train station at 8.00 am, our guide and driver pick up and transfer you to downtown. Have breakfast at local restaurant. Then you start your day trip to visit Hue Imperial City with a lot of constructions. First of all you will make a boat trip on Perfume River with the green color of trees in two banks sides to visit Thien Mu Pagoda – the ancient one in Hue and Vietnam. Next is the time to visit The Citadel or called Forbidden Purple City where was the palace of Nguyen reign since 1802. Visit Five Phoenix Tower, Thai Hoa Palace, Mie Temple, Nine Urn Dynasties, Royal Theater, etc.

Pm: In the afternoon you continue your visiting time to the complex of Nguyen Kings Mausoleum of Khai Dinh and Minh Mang. With two tombs you will have chance to discover the different styles in building the tomb of each King as Orient and Western. Back city centre. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 Hue – Bach Ma National Park (B)

Have breakfast at hotel. This morning you have free time to walk around the city to have your own exploration or make a cyclo tour to Dong Ba Market for more enjoyment of the busy purchasing centre in Hue city. Then our guide and driver pick up you at hotel and transfer you to Bach Ma National Park which far away 60km from Hue City on 1A National Highway. En the route, you will see the wonderful scenes of villages and rice fields. Upon arrival Bach Ma National centre, you will be transferred to the mountain summit. From the summit you will have the panorama of Lang Co beach, Cau Hai Lagoon with the spectacular views.

In the afternoon you start your trekking route at kilometer 15 to reach Five Lakes where you swim in the small romantic pools and fairy streams as well as the pure water in this forest. Continue your trekking about 1 hour more to visit Do Quyen Waterfall - is astounding and huge in the wooded mountain. In order to view the whole waterfall with the imposing view you step down 700 foot-steps and take wonderful pictures of the fall with the silver water. Here you also have a chance to admire the famous and very beautiful flower with the same name of the fall grows two sides of this waterfall. After that you will trek to camping area where you set up your tent for having a night in the forest. Optional you can come back park centre in the summit to overnight at villa

Day 11 Bach Ma NP – Hoian (B)

Wake up early to enjoy the lively life in the forest. Then you will enjoy the beautiful sunrise scenery when standing on Hai Vong Dai Path and then trekking to explore Natural Trail to see many birds because Bach Ma National Park is the paradise for anyone who loves bird watching. You will have chance to see many birds such as pigeons, bulbuls, parakeets, kingfishers, jungle fowl, etc. Bach Ma NP also has the diversified fauna systems for your more experience. Have breakfast at restaurant and then you will leave Bach Ma National Park for Hoi An. En route you stopover at Lang Co Beach for relaxing – one of the most beautiful beaches in Asia, Hai Van Pass for catching the panorama of Lang Co beach and Lap An Lagoon with the wonderful sights. Arrive in Da Nang City.

In the afternoon you will visit Cham Museum in Da Nang where displays the whole culture and collections of Cham people in Vietnam to get more knowledge of Champa Kingdom and to enjoy its simple and elegant patterns’ sculptures and visit Marble mountains or called Five Mountains which was named after the ancient oriental philosophy including 5 elements creating universe: metal, wood, water, fire and earth to see caves ad pagodas in cave. On arrival Hoi An Ancient town, check in your hotel. The rest of time you are free to explore Hoi An ancient town. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 Hoian ancient town – take flight to Ho Chi Minh (B)

Have breakfast at hotel. In the morning you will spend your time to walk around Hoian ancient town for more exploration its charming. Visit old houses of Tan Ky, Phuc Kien Hall, Ong pagoda, Sa Huynh Museum, Japanese Bridge and enjoy traditional music show at old house.
In the afternoon you spend more time as your own way to go shopping or relax on nice sandy beach of Cua Dai – 4km from Hoian ancient town. Then the driver drops you off Da Nang airport for taking flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, guide and driver pick up and transfer to hotel. Check in hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi tunnel & city (B)

Have breakfast at hotel. This morning guide and driver transfer you to Cu Chi District where you visit the network of Cu Chi Tunnels which was famous in Vietnam war. The tunnel has the underground one over 200 km where included kitchens, homes, hospital, living room, weapon factories… The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years. This is an opportunity for you to understand a period of Vietnam war. Back Ho Chi Minh city.
This afternoon you visit The Independent Palace or called Unification Palace which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s – Apr 1975s). You will see many interesting things: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level. This address today still holds many important functions in HCMC. And then visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14 Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh (B)

Have breakfast at hotel. This morning at 8.00 am you leave Ho Chi Minh to My Tho and take a motor boat to enter My Tho city through Bao Dinh natural canal. Pay a visit to My Tho’s colorful street fruit market alongside the canal to soak up the lively atmosphere and watch the locals trade their produce. Then you go on by cruising on Tien River to visit Tortoise Island, view the fishing port, the traditional stilt houses and boat building workshops, and the other three evocatively-named islands – Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn islands.
This afternoon you will visit the coconut candy mill; take an amazing rowing boat trip along the small canal. Cruise to Ben Tre province “the home of coconuts” to see a typical agricultural model known as “Garden – Pond – Cage”. You will have a relaxation at a fruit garden and taste honey tea before back My Tho. After that proceed back Ho Chi Minh.Overnight at hotel

Day 15 Ho Chi Minh depart (B)

Have breakfast at hotel. You have more free time to explore Ho Chi Minh city as your own way. Then the driver drops you off the airport for taking fight departure Ho Chi Minh to next destination or back home. Say goodbye Vietnam & see you again!
