Itinerary

Day 1 Hanoi arrival, welcome to Vietnam

You are welcomed at Noi Bai airport and transferred to downtown. Check in hotel. The rest of time is your free time to walk around the city to have your first impression of the capital of Vietnam with a long rich history. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 Hanoi city tour & handicraft village (B)

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. You have full day to visit Ha Noi city with rich history of cultures. Enjoy special in Ha Noi Capital City and Old Quarter. You will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, and his residential place, then the Temple of Literature where is Vietnam’s first University, built in twelfth century, to teach the royals the Confucius theory. Here you will also have a chance to see a traditional music performance.

Pm: This afternoon you go on visiting to leave Hanoi for surrounding and visit Bat Trang Ceramic village and Dong Ho Picture village which are famous handicrafts. Here you have chance for you to learn more of cultures and local people life. Back Hanoi and the last activity you take part in today is to enjoy water puppet show at theater near Hoan Kiem Lake for more experience. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 Hanoi – Halong Bay. O/n on board (BLD)

Am: You arrive in Hanoi train station at 5.00 am, you walk to mini hotel for early check in. Have breakfast at hotel. This morning at 8 am the driver picks you up at hotel and transfers from Ha Noi to Halong city on car about 3.5 hours to Ha Long City and have views simple, country side, rice paddy life. At 12.00, the junk crews welcome guests on board at Hon Gai Wharf. Enjoy welcome drinks and check in deluxe cabin on Junk.

Then start cruise program and excursions a Fantastic cruise in Bai Tu Long Bay ,visit Poem Mountain, the center market, Teapot islet, Goat’s head islet, Indochina film studio up to your imagination. You will visit Thien Canh Son Cave is a great time for exploring the hidden lagoons in Bai Tu Long Bay. Next enjoy swimming in the crystal water of Bai Tu Long Bay.

Day 4 Halong Bay – Hanoi. Take flight to Da Nang - Hoian (B)

Am: Wake up early in the morning for a great sunrise and a breath of fresh ocean air. This morning you do a leisurely cruise through thousands of seemingly never ending islands. This is a chance to capture some amazing photographs, you stop to visit a floating fishing village and listen to some legendary stories of the fishermen’s daily life. Then take swimming somewhere in the middle of the bay to refresh. Then the junk cruises back to the Halong city pier & ashore the pier.

Pm: The driver welcomes you at the pier and hit the road back to Hanoi. On the way back Ha Noi you will have chance to see beautiful landscapes. You arrive in Ha Noi at 16.30 pm. The driver drops you off Noi Bai airport for taking flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, guide and driver welcome and transfer you to downtown and go ahead to Hoian. Arrive in Hoian, check in hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 Visit My Son & Hoian ancient town (B)

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning you leave Hoian for My Son Holly land away 50 km for visiting the ruins of Cham tower which recognized as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Enjoy traditional music show performed by Cham girls.

You will make a walking tour around Hoian ancient town for more experience of its charm. You will have chance to visit Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Hall, Tan Ky Old House, Sa Huynh Museum, local market and enjoy traditional music show. Then you will make a boat trip on Thu Bon River for visit Thanh Ha Ceramic village to discover the handicraft village. It is also a chance for you to try to make a ceramic product under the instruction of household and receive it as a small gift when you experience here. Then take the boat back Hoian, on the way you will have more opportunity to take photos and fishing net on river. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 Hoian – Kon Tum (B)

Have breakfast at hotel. Today you leave Hoian for Kon Tum on the distance of 290km along Ho Chi Minh Trail. You strike back up to the mountains, rejoining the Trail at Phuoc Son (also known as Kham Duc) for more experience and enjoyment of landscapes. You have chance to pass through Lo So Pass and remote areas where the home of the Ba Na ethnicity people is. Arrive in Kontum, check in hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 Kon Tum – Buon Me Thuot (B)

After breakfast, this morning you leave Kon Tum and go ahead south through the Central Highlands, passing Pleiku on Ho Cghi Minh trail and cross the Ia Drang valley battlefield for more experience of this legend trail as well as ethnic people along this trail before continuing onto Buon Me Thuot or Buon Ma Thuot where produces most and best coffee products in Vietnam that make a famous coffee in the world. Overnight in hotel.

Day 8 Buon Me Thuot – Lak Lake (B)

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning you visit Buon Ma Thuot city for depart to Yokdon and visit this National Park. Here you walk in the jungle where the only dipteron forest ecosystems typical of the Highlands and Indochina. You also have chance to walk through suspension bridge on the Serepok river and see baby elephant in Don village and hear about the art of hunting and taming wild elephants Highlands. You spend your time to visit villages of Laos, M'nong, Ede minority people, the old house on stilts, the tomb of King Khunjunop legendary elephant hunter.

This afternoon you enjoy "Ban Me Thuot coffee cup" on the Dakmin lake before continue your trip by riding elephant in forest to get the interesting experience and then visit garden statues in wooden sculpture of ethnic groups to learn more of their culture.

Day 9 Lak Lake – Buon Me Thuot – Ho Chi Minh (B)

Am: After breakfast, you enjoy more time in the village and then move back to Buon Ma Thuot. You will visit the Ethnology Museum where you can see many things from the daily life of the ethnic minorities in Vietnam such as clothes, tools, musical instruments and Buon Ma Thuots bustling regional market where you can buy some souvenirs.

This afternoon the driver drops you off the airport for taking flight to Ho Chi Minh city. On arrival, guide and driver pick up and transfer to hotel. Check in hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 Ho Chi Minh – Con Dao Island (B)

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning the driver drops you off the airport for taking flight to Con Dao Island. On arrival, the driver picks up and transfers to hotel. Check in and have leisure time.

In the afternoon you start to visit and discover Bathing Dam Trau beach with nice yellow sand bank where is well known as the residual paradise in Con Dao when it is among primary forest and sea, free swimming, sightseeing, and taking photography. And you have more chance to visit Ong Tong Slope, Boat Cape, Cau Temple – the worship place of Canh prince – son of Nguyen Anh Lord.

Day 11 Con Dao Island (B)

Have breakfast at hotel. Con Dao has many different islets such as Bay Canh islet, Tai islet, Young Bamboo islet, Bamboo islet, Egg islet, Trac islet, or Areca-nut islet, etc. you will take a boat trip to Bay Canh islet where you spend your time for swimming and see seaturtle eggs on the beaches. This is the ideal place for trek through the magical forest and discovers the beautiful coral reefs by snorkeling and go fishing on the sea. Con Dao is also the good palce for diving if you would like to adventure more undersea world in Con Dao. With the local fishermen you will have a great chance to see colorful coral and different types of fish. Back the hotel in late afternoon and more relaxation. Overnight at hotel

Day 12 Con Dao Island – Ho Chi Minh (B)

Have breakfast at hotel. You have more free time to relax on nice white sandy beach in Con Dao. Then the driver drops you off the airport for taking flight to the airport for taking flight back Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, the driver picks up and transfers you to hotel. Check in hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi tunnel & city (B)

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning guide and driver transfer you to Cu Chi District where you visit the network of Cu Chi Tunnels which was famous in Vietnam war. The tunnel has the underground one over 200 km where included kitchens, homes, hospital, living room, weapon factories… The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years. This is an opportunity for you to understand a period of Vietnam war. Back Ho Chi Minh city.

This afternoon you visit The Independent Palace or called Unification Palace which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s – Apr 1975s). You will see many interesting things: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level. This address today still holds many important functions in HCMC. And then visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14 Ho Chi Minh depart (B)

Have breakfast at hotel. You have more free time to explore Ho Chi Minh city as your own way. Then the driver drops you off the airport for taking fight departure Ho Chi Minh to next destination or back home. Say goodbye Vietnam & see you again!
