Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau

Be welcomed at Noi Bai airport and check in hotel. After a long flight from your country to Vietnam, you have free time to relax or explore Hanoi City by your own way on the first day you arrive in the city. You can walk around by your own way to explore Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and park surrounding to get more cultures.

Afternoon will be your visiting and exploring the unique of the Temple of Literature or called Van Mieu and the Ethnology Museum.

Water puppet show is a must see activity when you are in Hanoi to get more of culture and its special

Walk around the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake with old turtle tower where still has rare turtle inhabits. Walk surrounding on old streets to get experience of shopping for silk, jeweler, make tailor

Day 2 & 3: Mai Chau/Moc Chau/Son La

Today is the journey to Mai Chau pass through the spectacular scenes of Limestone Mountains and valley before you reach Mai Chau. Mai Chau is the home of Thai people and a night at their stilt house you can get more of their hospitality and cultures as well. Enjoy traditional dances at night to learn about their customs and culture

Awake early next day and enjoy the tranquil life in the village with sounds of chickens, pig, etc. Make a cycling around the village to enjoy more of its beauty and valley.

Leave Mai Chau for Moc Chau and Son La with the admiration of fruit orchards, tea plantations lines along road that make spectacular sights. You have more chance to meet and see local tribe people with their daily work of black Thai, White Thai, H’mong, Muong, etc. Here is the chance for you to visit Prison Museum in Son La which has style since French. Have a night in Son La.

Day 4 & 5: Son La/Dien Bien Phu/Tam Duong

Enjoy more of the beauty scenery in Northwest of Son La and then pass through imposing road to reach Dien Bien Phu. Especially you will admire the spectacular famous Pha Din Pass to enjoy wonderful view and sights.

Dien Bien Phu was a famous destination in the war between Vietnam and French where you can visit monuments, museums, old battlefield, etc to learn more of rich history Vietnam.

On day 5 you will leave Dien Bien Phu and continue your voyage to Lai Chau on off beaten track road and enjoy rice terrace fields, mountain sights as well as meet more of minority people of H’Mong, Black Thai, Black Dzao and Pazi. The day trip will end in Tam Duong for relaxing, enjoy daily life and overnight.

Day 6 - 8: Tam Duong/Sapa trek & back Hanoi

Wake up early and enjoy the morning life at a peaceful town for more experience. Leave Tam Duong in morning and go ahead to Sapa town with road up hill. With special view at Tram Ton Pass you will be surprise for its spectacular beauty that cannot see anywhere.

Sapa town is in the highland of North where cool climate has so you can see the different clearly. The town offers colorful of tribe people, villages for trekking to see beautiful sights and terrace fields. Trekking through the village and enjoy the real life of local people and satisfy with natural beauties.

Afternoon of day 8 you will return Lao Cai for taking night train back Hanoi on AC soft sleeper. You will arrive in Hanoi next morning.
